The Art of Interracial Relationships

If we look around us, we will realize that we are all a product of Interracial Relationships. My ancestry originated from Spanish, Chinese and Filipino descent. I always believed that I am a pure Filipino because I was born in the Philippines but going through microscopic details, I am not. My grandmother was from Spain, my mother’s family has the chinese ancestry and part of both ends were from the Philippines so I turned out to be a beautiful human being.
Now, when I talk about Interracial Relationships, I am pertaining to all level of relationships with races entertwined with each other. We probably don’t realize that we are all a product of interracial relationships. In this modern world with vast global diversity, being involved in an interracial relationship may sound simple but actually there is more complexity involved to it.
Factors that we need to consider being involve in an interracial relationship includes language/dialect, food, heritage, beliefs, cultures, traditions, lifestyle, values, geographic location and many more to mention. Some of this factors may stimulate the relationship and bring spice to each other but some of them may be a barrier towards a successful interracial relationship.
Now, as I progress in blogging InterracialLove, I will simultaneously uncover the pros and cons of being in an interracial relationship. I will also discuss about why it works and why it doesn’t work.
